The Armory is the vine covered, red brick, castle like building on 15th street just past the Student Union. We play on ten Double Fish and Stiga tables. The Club is open to anyone who wants to join - students, faculty or members of the community. A yearly club membership costs $40 for RPI members, and $70 for non-RPI members. The Club is affiliated with the USATT, the governing body of Table Tennis in the US. The club provides for the equipment such as the tables, nets, balls, and paddles in case you do not have your own. The club has a Robo-Pong 200, a ping-pong robot that you can practice with during club meetings. Several tournaments are held by the club each year. There is also a table tennis team that competes against other colleges in the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA), in which all Rensselaer students are eligible to try out.
